This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.

Travel Requirement: No

What You Will Do:

• Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organizations strategic goals and objectives.

• Aligning HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.

• Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.

• Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.

• Leading team of HR professionals to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.

• Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

• Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.

• Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organizations vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

• Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

• Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.

• Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in any discipline.

• Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (HR) and Labor Relations (LR).

• Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulatory frameworks.

• Demonstrated proficiency in: Strategic leadership and decision-making, global business acumen, industrial relations and HR legal compliance, influencing and stakeholder engagement, talent management and development, clear and effective communication across all organizational levels.

• Experience working in a large-scale, multinational manufacturing environment.

• Willingness to relocate to Batam.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):

• This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
